these pokemon live at the bottom of oceans. the first collects bits of broken china and pottery that drops into the sea, and use it to cover their bodies for protection. after evolution this pokemon forms a hard outer shell for protection. chips and shards of their shell that break off in battle can be found scattering the shores.
they are rock/water
the first evolves into the second at level 30
Stage 1: Vasea, the Sea Sherd* Pokémon (Vase + Sea = Vasea). Type: Rock/Water. Dex Entry: "They are fond of collecting chipped bits of pottery so that they can both decorate and protect themselves from predators. Tempers run high over who gets the biggest and prettiest shards."
Stage 2: Anemaio, the Style Shell Pokémon (Anemone + Maoilica, a term for 15th-Century pottery, = Anemaio). Dex Entry: "As a result of using pottery as armour over the centuries, the sherds these Pokémon collect become part of their natural shell after evolving. Each shell is unique, creating a renewable source of armour for the next generation if it chips off in battle."
*Sherd. Recently found out that this is the correct term for broken pieces of ceramic materials, especially if they're found on archaeological sites.
