Description

remake of my sea equine fakemon frozenfeather.deviantart.com/a…

these pokemon live in small herds around rivers. they are poor swimmers but can run very fast. they are often thought to be sea monsters and scary but they are actually very friendly and easy to train. the final evolution are difficult to train but very loyal to their trainers. many domesticate them and raise them in large lakes on what people call water farms. they have large glistening scales that grow on their backs, they're prized by collectors.

they are water type

the first evolves into the second at level 15

Stage 1: Kampony, the Water Foal Pokemon (Kampos, Greek for "sea monster"*, + Pony = Kampony). Type: Water. Dex Entry: "These Pokemon were once feared by fishermen due to their speed and tendency of generating a shroud of mist about them as they ran. It wasn't until these curious baby Pokemon approached boats that these fears were quenched."

Stage 2: Yeariver, the River Runner Pokemon (Yearling, a term for adolescent horses, + River = Yeariver). Type: Water. Dex Entry: "When they are old enough, they are brought either by humans or their parents to large rivers where they learn to hunt, run and swim. Once their leg muscles develop, there is nothing that can match their speed in water or on land."

Stage 3: Seaquine, the Water Scale Pokemon (Sea + Equine + Sequin, in reference to their scales, = Seaquine). Type: Water. Dex Entry: "They are majestic and powerful creatures that are revered across the region. Whilst difficult to train, they are immensely loyal and rewarding - their prowess in battle makes them a force to be reckoned with and seamstresses will pay good money for any scales they drop."
