Nephew's Gourgeist

i asked my 10 year old nephew to draw me gourgeist and this is what he made, i actually think it's really cute. i have also been pondering over it a bit. it has that certain fun and innocent quality to it, you know? like he's just drawing for the sake of it and to have fun, it isn't perfect, it's stylized, it's fun. i need to find that in myself again. i also find it really fascinating that a child can't draw correctly, i mean look at the right side of the pumpkin, it's sort of zig zaggy and jagged, it isn't that hard to make a rounded line. it is for children though, they PHYSICALLY can't do it yet, i just find it fascinating. so odd and wonderful...anyways enough of my crackpot thoughts.
